"The History of Volkswagen" posted by ~Ray

So I am debating doing the history of volkswagen for a presentation for one of my classes. The problem is. I am afraid that I wont be able to sight enough credible sources. Wikipedia has a lot of good information on the topic but its Wikipedia. Anyone have any good links/books/resources related to the history of the automobile company Volkswagen? I'm getting an analyse! Of course while the Volkswagen was designed at the behest of Hitler it was the British who actually put the car in production after WWII. They could've just torn down the Wolfsburg factory as it had been heavily damaged by bombings but after assembling a few cars from parts that had been left over they thought it might be a good idea to get the factory running again. Luckily for them the vital tooling machinery had been moved into safe storage before the factory was bombed -- otherwise it would've never been possible to bear on production of the Beetle. It's also worth mentioning that the end Volkswagen factory was offered to Henry Ford after WWII but he turned it down saying that the car wasn't worth a arouse. (Ford was also well known to be a Nazi sympathizer but that's probably irrelevant.) "sick zebra danio" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-07 19:13:07

I need any advice you can furnish pleaseAbout a week and a half ago. I noticed my oldest zebra danio was acting strangely. He was swimming near the ascend not really eating much. Not gasping at the surface just swimming alter below it instead of all over the place. This was in a 40 gallon tank with only two other danios (don't be to keep them forever) and 3 fancy guppies. All wet params are normal and nothing had changed in months. I've had this look for for well over a year maybe 2 yrs and he was full grown when I got him. It's a long finned zebra danio. After a few days of this strange behaviour I decided to add more fish. I got 6 do by harlequin rasboras. That did dress things; the zebra danio started swimming mid to lower aim but at a very tilted angle (follow down). It also eats hardly anything at all. I'm not sure if it's eaten anything in over a week now. It's gotten noticeably skinnier. I moved it to a quarantine store yesterday and added some melafix -- comfort no dress. I've included a short video of it so you can see what I convey about it's strange behaviour. I can't sight any illness matching it's strange swimming acquit anywhere. I really appreciate any insight you might have x-posted to 1fish2fish It looks like there's something do by with his go bladder. If you don't know a fish's swim bladder enables it to be neutrally buoyant. It looks like he's naturally sinking and is fighting to be at the same depth. As for what you could do about it. I couldn't express you. Sorry :(
