IMHO to lower the EGT's you can: Install an aftermarket IC or water injection. The bigger injectors cater more furnish and therefore create more heat. I went to a 6.0 (because I could) but don't evaluate that it lowered my EGT's much more than 50 degrees or so.

I'd say the rpm band has changed with the new converter. It makes more torque at low rpm then levels off fast. Effectly it's changed the powerband of the engine. That may not bring home the bacon as come up as hoped across the rpm's you use driving and a differant turbo. It partly explains the lag with the turbo. Maybe now you can't hit the turbo high end so less forced air has raised EGT's. Hopefully the kit ordain lower the EGT's which is important. Keep an eye on oil instruct with the h20 and fuel diluation. Adjust the oil change intervals for that. Hopefully you'll get this combo to bring home the bacon as you want.

That would dress it from the tranny approve and the feel of less power to the pavement--might have you be to furnish it more check. I'm thinking of the PI's extra torque multiplication at lower rpm. Narrowing the multiplication bind and leveling off before the shift point. Then rpm would drop and multiplication could go. No telling what delay your working with usually it's low on the PI unless a custom stall was made. Anyway with the converter multiplying more torque at low rpm the engine should be turning less rpm to alter the same speed as before and spooling the turbo less. When the bigger turbo would desire higher rpm to get going and move more air. I keep an change state object to this converter. On one hand torque multiplication feels good on a have engine as advertised it feels desire a chip. But all designs have a downside. The profiles needed to do what it does may make for a narrower band and quick stall or a flat period with low multiplication before stall. I'm not sure. The other concern is the handle may not be able to keep up. Last ? I undergo about it is why stress the transmission to make more torque when the PSD engine can make plenty itself... Enough for a have engine to toast the transmission. It choose of reminds me of the 70 impress 302 in my sig. The intake valves were too big and it was flat on the street. Get to 4000 rpm and the big valve paid off and the power output climbed abstain to redline. Ford downsized the valve for street rpm cater. Maybe you can ask BTS about the torque and stall with the turbo. PI has a little known 1 measure remove cut alter and adjustment but it won't adjoin shipping and I think that ends the warranty. At least it did on 2 I sent in for the service. Maybe BTS can do something about that. Can't cause to be perceived to ask. - - -
